Resolution: Quay Facilities were able to attend to this problem the same day on an emergency basis, and our trained engineer team assessed the roller shutters immediately upon arrival. Upon closer inspection, the unit that powered the remote control system was diagnosed as faulty and was beyond repair. Our engineers had a replacement in their van however, and they installed a brand new unit complete with three fobs for the client's employees.

Fault: This client advised us that their rear fire exit door had dropped and would no longer open leading to a compromise in security and the safety of staff.
Resolution: Our qualified engineers arrived at the premises to find the staff confused with their problem. Upon closer inspection, the fire door had completely failed and ideally needed replacing in full. As a temporary solution, our engineers altered and cut the existing hinges to enable staff to enter and exit, and a full quote for a new fire door was provided.
The client was pleased that the fire exit route was now clear and did not compromise customers or staff.
