What is the standard delivery time?

Can I install the product myself?

We would not recommend you installing the products yourself unless you have been specifically trained on the installation of the products as this is a process that should only be performed by trained specialists, in order to assure that the product will work without fault.

How easy are the doors to fit, do they come with instructions?

It's best to have a skilled, trained engineer fit our products. However we do sell to trade and our products come with a Operating and Maintenance manual.

Do you provide installation services?

Yes we do provide installation services. In fact we recommend using our installation services or have a skilled, trained engineer fit our products rather than you doing it by yourself.

Do you help with planning permission?

No. You will have to take care of acquiring a planning permission yourself.

Which product should I choose: Security Shutter or Security Grille?

Which is the Best Roller Shutter to buy?

What methods of operation are there for Security Shutters?

Our Security Shutters come with either an electric or manual method of operation, remote control, rocker switch or high security key operated.

Do you Service and Repair Doors and Shutters?

Quay Facilities provide a commercial shutters and automatic doors repair and maintenance service, ensuring your industrial premises and retail shop security meets the health and safety requirements for the event of an emergency.

Do your Security Shutters come with a warranty?

All our products come with a 12 months parts and labour warranty when we fit them.

Can you paint my shutter in a specific colour?

Yes. The Shutters can be powder coated to any standard “RAL” or “BS” colour reference

How long will it take before my shutter is installed?

On average our team installs the shutter in about 15 working days.

I need a shutter really quickly. Can you do it?

We always endeavour to meet all client requirements, so if you need a shutter installed real quick then give us a call and we can discuss the best options.

Do I need any special power requirements for the electric operation?

Depending on application, you will need a single or three phase power supply for the electric operation of your product.

How do you open the door in the event of power failure?

It is best to install a manual over ride facility, which can be fitted to all electric roller shutters, to prevent this for ever happening.

Does the door comply with European Legislation?

Yes, all our products comply with European Legislation.

How often should I have my roller door serviced?

This depends on how often your roller door is used, but we do recommend a servicing you roller door at least once a year.

What happens if my remote control roller door closes and hits an obstruction?

What happens if someone in my street has the same roller door as me, can they open my door?

No. You will be the only person that can operate your door. Even if someone on your street has the same roller door they won't be able to use their key to open yours.
