Resolution: Quay Facilities were quick to arrive on the site and took the time to fully investigated the extent of the damage. In order to gain access to the fire exit door safely, Quay Facilities sourced and hired a mobile tower from the local area. Quay Facilities then re-cabled the fire exit door and replaced the damaged hinge assemblies and wheels to ensure that the door was fully operational again. Unfortunately, the existing panels were also damaged so further work was required for new panels, and a quote for this work was provided to the client. Nevertheless, the premises were secured and the site was able to continue to use the door on a temporary basis.
Our customer was more than pleased with the outcome and very happy to have saved on security guard costs.
