Introducing - the baseline personnel security screening (BPSS) certification - provided by Security & Vetting Solutions (SVS).
The Baseline Personnel Security Standard is a pre-employment screening standard for employees and contractors. This standard is required for anyone who, in the course of their work, has access to Government assets. Simply put, this is the first level of security screening for Government contracts.
BPSS also forms a part of more advanced Government screening standards such Security Clearance (CS) or Counter Terrorist Check (CTC) which are typically required when access to SECRET Government assets is necessary.
Whilst BPSS screening is a Government screening standard, it may also be used to satisfy a client’s screening requirements if similar checks are requested.
